Kevin Koresky
Assistant Coach
Kevin was introduced to the sport of triathlon in 2001. Since then he has completed multiple sprint and olympic distance triathlons and running events including a half-marathon. As his passion for the sport has grown, Kevin decided to challenge himself by transitioning to Ironman distance triathlons. He picked Ironman Wisconsin (2006) as his first and for his second he chose Ironman Florida (2007). He is currently training for Ironman Arizona in November (2008). Kevin has trained in San Diego, California for four years and at higher altitude in Denver, Colorado for three years. |
Kevin's passion for the sport has inspired him to help others achieve the same success and passion as he has by taking his practical knowledge and experience to the next level as a coach. He attributes his success to his strong planning skills, keen attention to detail and resolute focus and wishes to give back to the triathlon community by mentoring others in these skills. His philosophy is: "train smart, train right and smile as you cross the finish line."
"You have completed 140 miles, now the adrenaline has worn off and the pain is getting the best of you. How do you complete the next .6 miles? When does your race really begin? 11/23/08 my day, my race, my story, what ever it takes to finish Ironman Arizona"
