Luke Walton

Coach/Olympian/Elite Triathlete

Luke swam competitively as a child but got burned out and took up rowing aged 16 at San Diego RC. Luke became a world champion at the under 23 World Championships in 1999. He competed in the world championships three more times - 2001, 2002 and 2003 - finishing 4th in the eight, 4th in the coxed four, and 11th in pairs, respectively.

Luke later competed at the 2004 Olympic Games finishing 11th in the men's pair. In 2005 and 2006, he rowed in the prestigious Cambridge Blue Boat. He also raced in the IRA (American Collegiate Championships) and went undefeated for four successive years.

Triathlon is his new passion and Breakaway Training is his new weapon.
